to show or not to show
Many of these ladies, like in most anatomy books, are..well showing their anatomy. This means clothing is not drawn on the models so you can see the nude form. Problem is some people confuse an artistic nude with a titillating naked pin-up. So I played around with drawing the girl's faces not so cute, or the expressions as blank stares, but both really took away from the finished drawings. To show the best way to draw attractive women is to draw them in an attractive manner, and hope the viewer is mature enough to know that they are not naked just to be exploitative.
Still not sure what the final drawings will look like. Will the figures end up being fully nude, wearing bathing suits, or partially anatomically incomplete (stars or bars covering up certain areas) is up to the publisher.
